WHAT INFORMATION IS COLLECTED ON THIS WEBSITE?
Contact Form
When you fill out the contact form on this website, we collect your name, email address, and telephone number.
Booking Form
When you fill out the booking form you are asked to provide the following personal details:
Title, First Name, Last Name, Address, Email Address, and Telephone number.
HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
Contact Form
The personal information that you provide, i.e. your name, email address, and telephone number, is used to help us get back to you, via the email or telephone number that you provide, to help you with your enquiry about your holiday booking.
Online Booking Form
We ask you to provide the minimum information that is required to take your online booking. For security, we use the Booklet online booking system (see Third Parties below). The information you provide is transferred over a secure connection to Bookalet. Bookalet then shares this information, over SSL (Secure Socket Layer), with us via our email. Emails are sent over SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol). We can also access this information from our online Bookalet account. Access to this account is password protected, and your details are not shared with any other 3rd party.
ONLINE SECURITY
Our website is secure. You can see this as it has https: and a padlock in the browser address bar. This means the connection from your computer to our website is secure. All information passed over the network is encrypted with SHA-2, 256-bit cryptography. The information you provide to us when filling out this form is transferred from your computer to our website server and then to our local email via SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol). Information that you provide is not stored on this website's server.
HOW LONG WE KEEP INFORMATION FOR
We keep records of your details for as long as we need to process and manage your holiday booking, and for as long as we are legally obliged to for accounting and record keeping purposes.
AGE LIMITS
You must be over the age of 18 years to make a booking on our website.
PAYMENTS
All deposits and payments are taken via Bank Transfer or Cheque. Your Bank account details are only used by us, via the Booklet system, to return your deposit where appropriate. No details are shared with any other party.
NEWSLETTERS
Occasionally we send out a newsletter to share information on special offers and last minute availability.
You can choose to opt-in to this newsletter when you make a booking.
If you choose to consent to us sending you our newsletter, you have the right to remove this consent at any time by sending us an email with the word "unsubscribe" written in the subject line. We will remove your email address from our newsletter list immediately. We manage all of our emails and newsletters ourselves in-house, and so your details are not shared with any 3rd party.
DATA ACCESS REQUEST
You can request to see any data that we hold on you at any time. Any request will be responded to within 30 days.
DATA DELETION REQUEST
You have the right to ask that personal data that we hold on you be deleted. Unless there is a reason why that data is needed - for example, to allow us to process and manage a current/recent holiday booking, or for legal business and accounting purposes, your data will be erased upon request.
